Cinematic, Colorful Bay Area Photography by Tiffany Michelle
Stories that live in color.
Vibrant, story-driven photography with a cinematic, editorial approach, based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Most photos don’t tell the whole story.
They’re polished, but flat. Technically ‘good,’ but emotionally quiet. They miss the spark, the movement, the tension, the humanity.
You’ve probably felt this before: there’s energy, emotion, and intention in what you do, but your photos don’t fully capture the story.
Tifferently exists to bring the story, color, and life back into your photos.

If your work has soul, your photos should too.
Inspired by color, connection, and the celebration of small moments of magic that make us who we are.
Hi, I’m Tiffany — the visual storyteller behind tifferently. Before photography, I worked with the Hubble Space Telescope and spent years in marketing and large-scale creative productions. That blend of art and science continues to shape how I see and photograph the world.
I bring structure and intention to every shoot, while leaving room for spontaneity and connection. I guide when needed, and step back when the moment speaks for itself. Creating an environment where people feel comfortable and seen is always the goal.

Here's how we'll create images that feel alive:
1. Connect
Every session starts with a conversation. We'll talk through your vision, your goals, and what lights you up.
2. Color
I have a confession: I nerd out scouting the perfect color locations for your photoshoot. Why is this important? Because color brings emotional depth to every frame. I don't just take photos; I look for the emotion and meaning in every shot.
3. Collaborate
Drawing on my background as a theatrical director, I'll guide you through the session with warmth and intention. I’ll learn who you are as you share more of your artistry with me. And then I’ll collaboratively direct you so there is no awkward posing and no stiff smiles. Just authentic moments that feel true to who you are and honor your story.
4. Celebrate
Within 2-3 weeks, you'll receive a curated gallery of fully edited, high-resolution images. Photos that make you feel seen, celebrated, and proud to share.
